HOW TO BOOK :
Once you have chosen your Barbados holiday rental, we will quote you a total price for your stay with us that will include all government taxes. Please fill in our online booking form.
A 20% deposit is required for confirmation of your booking and this is most easily done by credit card (MasterCard or Visa) on the secure payment booking form.
The Balance is payable on arrival as cash, travellers cheques or money order since the credit card commission rate is very high here. We can accept credit cards but will have to charge you a 5% commission on the balance. Different payment policies might apply to certain properties.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We recommend highly that you take out holiday insurance in the event that you have to cancel your holiday. We cannot refund your deposit if you cancel within 8 weeks of your arrival. If a refund is applicable (i.e. cancellation prior to 8 weeks of arrival), there will be a cancellation fee of 30% of your deposit for handling charges and commission.
Should you cancel 30 days or less prior to your arrival, the entire amount will be charged on your credit card.
IMMIGRATION DETAILS:
The address that you need for your immigration card is on the web page of your property - please make sure that you bring it with you to be able to fill in your immigration card. Entry to Barbados will be forbidden without this information.
EVERYONE (including infants) MUST have a valid passport in order to gain entry to Barbados.
GETTING TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Archie and his team of taxis are familiar with the location of all our properties. If you have arranged a pick up, he will stand to the left of the exit from Arrival Hall holding up a board with your surname on it. Please look out for him or ask another driver for him as he will be there for you.
You will be met at your Barbados accommodation by either your housekeeper, house manager or the Calypso Rentals Manager, Sarah, who will introduce you to your villa or apartment. If you are a late night arrival, Archie may show you into your accommodation and we will visit you in the morning to make sure that you are happy and comfortable.
YOUR VILLA COST INCLUDES
Exclusive use of the Barbados villa or Barbados apartment and its grounds.
Staff as specified on your webpage.
Bed-linen and towels (excluding beach towels)
Initial supply of bath soap, toilet paper, detergent and dishwashing liquid. However, we expect you to replenish these as required. YOUR VILLA COST DOES NOT INCLUDE
Food and drink

Personal Laundry (unless specified)
Extra keys. These can be supplied for a refundable deposit of $25Bds CAR HIRE

Travelers Cheques are safer than cash for the long term, but an initial supply of cash is useful. American Dollars are accepted everywhere as well as Canadian Dollars and UK Sterling.

Too many formal clothes and expensive jewellery.
Too much cash TELEPHONES
All our accommodations have telephones but most are not connected for International Usage - if you wish to make International calls you can purchase a pre paid phone card or use your credit card to make calls.
DEPARTURE TIMES
Our properties must be vacated by 12 noon, however if you have a late flight we will try to accommodate you by giving you access to a bathroom and one room in which to store your luggage and get changed.
